Steps to create this unique effect:
1. Open Photoshop and File > new
2. Set your canvas to size750 by 550px and save as example.psd
3. Fill background with #E6D4A7
4. Create new document 3 by 3px. Then create new layer.
5. Use the pencil tool with 1px and color #000000
6. Paint 3 squares diagonally (from top-right to the bottom-left)
7. Delete the background layer
8. Press Ctrl+A, then Edit > Define Pattern
9. Close this document without saving it.
10. Go back to example.psd; and create new layer
11. Use paint bucket tool; fill with the new pattern you made
12. Create new layer
13. Use the Gradient layer and select transparent rainbow
14. Drag the gradient line from the top-left corner to the bottom-right corner
15. Select the Gradient Rainbow layer and then Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur
16. Set radius to 250
17. Create later mask on this layer and fill with #FFFFFF
18. Use soft brush tool; size 350px. Paint the center with color #000000
19. Then open model picture. Use the magic wand tool and select allthe background then press delete on the keyboard. Then drag it into the example.psd using the moving tool
20. Hide all the other layers but the model by clickiing one the eye next to the layers
21.Click channel tab. Select the brightest picture out the Red, Green, and Blue
22. Ctrl+left click on the channel layer you chose in step 21
23. Click create new channel to get alpha channel and fill with color #FFFFFF
24. Use the soft brush and use #FFFFF and paint away the background behind the model
25.Ctrl+left click on alpha channel you created. Then go to Select > Inverse
26. Go back to layer tab. Make all the layers visible. Create new layer and fill with any color
27. Right click on the layer and click blending options . Activate the Graidnet overlay
28. Choose Yellow, Violet, Orange, Blue. Set the angle to -45 and the scale to 150
29. Duplicate the model layer. Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur; set radius to 3px
30. Right click on duplicated layer. Go to blending options > Select gradient overlay > Blend Mode: set to hard light
31. Create new layer and draw varies sized lines (color white) vertically with the pencil tool
32. Hold down the shift key while drawing to get them pefectly straight
33. Then go to Edit > Transform > Rotate. Make your value 45
34. Use the Eraser tool, set the hardness to 0 and the size 150. Fade the lines over the model as much as you like.
35. Finished, now you have a photo with Alpha Channel!
